It is time to seek confirmation of GCSE Options for next September. Please complete this form on behalf of your child, who will, in due course, be sent a copy of the responses by the school.

In Year 10 pupils study a core curriculum including:

English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, PSHEE, Games and PE.

In addition pupils have to choose four further subjects to complete their programme of study. Each of these leads to one GCSE grade.

With the agreement of Miss Monk, some students might choose Learning Support as one of their options instead of a fourth GCSE

Students are recommended to pick at least one language subject (French/German/Spanish).

Numbers will be limited in some subjects due to the practical nature of those subjects and the space available. It is also impossible to timetable every possible combination of subjects – the blocks below have been designed to allow as many as possible of the students’ provisional choices to be accommodated.
